Mathieu Lagraula

Mathieu LagraulaTireless praised sideman, the guitar player trompeter Mathieu Lagraula got himself a name on the Nantes Jazz scene thanks to his special feeling between blues and Jazz. At 16 he enrolls in the Jazz band of the university of Nantes, and becomes the musical co director in a few years. Over time he makes himself a name with hundreds of performances all over France, as well as many recordings also.

During the past few years, he began to accompany theater companies notably in giving rythm to the performance of the « Troupe Malin » .
Accomplished musician, he plays in different bands ranging from Soul, to Reggae as well as guitare trompeter with « Zgoaya » Rock’n Roll in « Phil Barouf et les intellectuels orchestra ». He remains profoundly rooted in the Jazz side of his trio, in duet with Sandrine Arnaud, with the Sassy Swingers or in the more personal quartet « Woodshippers  »  or «  SouFFFle. »
